Who writes it?
I’m James Somauroo. Former NHS anaesthetist and ICU doctor, now a healthtech entrepreneur and founder of SomX, a healthcare communications agency. I host The Healthtech Podcast (400+ episodes) and I’ve been writing about this industry long enough to have opinions worth sharing - and to know when to keep them to myself.
Pigeon exists because the healthtech press was either too dry, too credulous, or too hidden behind paywalls. I wanted something that told you what was actually happening, what it meant, and whether you should care - with the occasional pun and a footnote or two.
